We would like to inform our valued passengers that from Saturday, July 11, 2026, the local train (2151) Zenica – Sarajevo will be reintroduced into service on weekends, which will allow passengers from Zenica, Kakanj, Visoko, Ilijaš and surrounding towns to more easily arrive and connect to the seasonal fast train on the Sarajevo – Ploče – Sarajevo route.
Passengers will have the opportunity to travel as follows:
1. DEPARTURE (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
– The local train departs from Zenica at 04:59 and arrives at the Sarajevo station at 06:39.
– The seasonal train departs from the Sarajevo station at 07:15 and arrives at the Ploče station at 10:36.
2. RETURN (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
– The seasonal train departs from Ploče at 18:26 and arrives at Sarajevo station at 21:54.
– The local train departs from Sarajevo station at 22:02 and arrives in Zenica at 23:42.
Tickets can be purchased from the conductor on the train. Return ticket prices for individual routes:
Zenica – Ploče: 63.20 KM; Kakanj- Ploče: 57.90 KM; Visoko – Ploče: 55.00 KM; Ilijaš – Ploče: 53.60 KM.
