Railways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ŽFBH) inform the public that the seasonal international passenger train Sarajevo-Ploče-Sarajevo will operate from June 26 to September 27, 2026, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The departure of this train from Sarajevo is at 7:15 a.m., and the return train departs from Ploče at 6:26 p.m. The price of a one-way ticket is 29.30 KM, and a return ticket is 48.30 KM.
For students, journalists and pensioners, and groups of 6 or more passengers, we have provided a set of 30% discounts. A 50% discount is available to blind and visually impaired persons and their companions, as well as children aged 4 to 12. Children under 4 travel free of charge.
The one-way yourney takes about 3 hours and 20 minutes.
We emphasize that due to the introduction of this train, the departure time of the afternoon train from Čapljina to Sarajevo will be rescheduled as follows: Čapljina 19:29, Žitomislići 19:41, Mostar 19:56, Drežnica Stara 20:15, Jablanica Grad 20:29, Konjic 20:45 and Hadžići 21:37.
On other days, from Monday to Thursday, the afternoon train from Čapljina to Sarajevo will depart at the regular time at 16:42.
Tickets for the specified route Sarajevo-Ploče-Sarajevo will not be available online.
